- Emily Habansky
- I am an artist and jeweler living in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I received an Associates Degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in a Jewelry Design Studio program, studied ceramics and liberal arts at Alfred University, and received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. I studied fine arts including: ceramics, sculpture, collage, and concentrated on Jewelry and Metalsmithing. I have been working in a studio space in the once "Industrial Mecca", east side of Bridgeport. My primary focus is on painting. My work is graphic, yet gestural. Monochromatic themes are also evident with splashes and hints of color.
